This study assessed the perceived impact of the coronavirus on undergraduates’ motivation to learning in University of Ilorin. The population for this study was undergraduates in the University of Ilorin. It adopted a descriptive survey design and sampled 200 undergraduates through simple random technique. A researcher designed questionnaire was used as an instrument to elicit data from the respondents. The findings from this study revealed that the perceived impact of the coronavirus on undergraduates’ motivation to learning in university of Ilorin were reduced income due to pay cuts, uncertainty of the job market, search for alternative sources of income, illness or death of loved ones caused by covid-19, fear of contracting the virus, feeling of isolation, stress or anxiety, fear of public gatherings and depression. It was recommended that there should be provision of resources and funds to support undergraduates’ online learning, creation of special data plans, provision of seminars and workshops, sensitization of parents, teachers, school administrators and students themselves on the negative impact of the coronavirus on leaners’ motivation.
